Enrolment Requirements

- Valid photo ID (passport, driver’s licence, or proof of age card)
- Unique Student Identifier (USI) – create yours free at usi.gov.au
- Completed enrolment form and LLN self-assessment
Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) Support
All students must have sufficient English to participate in training and complete assessments. A short LLN self-assessment is sent in your booking confirmation email – this is not a pass/fail test, it helps us identify how to best support you.
A free verbal LLN assessment is also available before enrolment. If additional support is needed, we will discuss options with you before your course begins.
Reasonable Adjustment
If you have a disability, learning difficulty, medical condition, or language barrier, we can make reasonable adjustments to help you participate – such as extra assessment time, modified materials, or verbal responses instead of written answers. Contact us before enrolling to discuss your needs.
Support for New Arrivals to Perth
We support students new to Perth – particularly those arriving from Ireland, the UK, or on working holiday visas. We provide free guidance on obtaining a Tax File Number (TFN), job searching in Perth, and finding accommodation.
Assessment
All accredited courses use competency-based assessment. Your result will be either Competent (C) or Not Yet Competent (NYC). If you receive a Not Yet Competent result, your trainer will provide feedback and you’ll have up to 3 reassessment attempts at no additional cost.
Certification
Statements of Attainment are issued within 3 business days of completion and no later than 30 calendar days, in accordance with the Standards for RTOs 2025. White Card is issued the same day. Non-accredited courses receive a Certificate of Participation.
Fees and Refunds
All fees are listed on our website with no hidden charges. See our Fees, Refunds and Transfers page for full refund and cancellation policy details.
Complaints and Appeals
You have the right to raise concerns or appeal decisions at any time. See our Complaints and Appeals page for the full process.
Privacy
We collect and manage your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Work Health and Safety
All students are expected to follow trainer instructions, report hazards promptly, and act responsibly for their own safety and the safety of others. For traffic management practical days, additional safety measures apply for extreme weather – see our WHS policy for full details.
