Do I need any prior experience to enrol?
No prior experience is required for most courses. Our training is designed for beginners as well as those looking to update or renew their skills.
What if my English isn’t very strong?
Our trainers deliver training in clear, plain English and provide support throughout the course. If you’re unsure about your English level, contact us – we offer a free short verbal assessment to help identify the best support for you.
Can I reschedule my course?

Do you offer any funding or subsidies?
CTF (Construction Training Fund) subsidies may be available for eligible students in WA construction-related industries. Check your eligibility at ctf.wa.gov.au before enrolling.
White Card Questions
Will I receive my White Card on the same day?
Yes. Your White Card is printed and issued on the same day, once you have successfully completed the course and all enrolment and ID verification steps are complete.
What do I need to bring to the White Card course?
Valid photo ID only – passport, driver’s licence, or proof of age card. All training materials and PPE are supplied by Workforce Training Group.
Who needs a White Card?
Anyone working on or entering a construction site in Australia is legally required to hold a valid White Card – including labourers, tradespeople, site visitors, and supervisors.
Is the White Card valid across Australia?
Yes. The White Card (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry) is nationally recognised and accepted in all Australian states and territories.
Can I enrol if I’m under 18?
Yes. You can enrol from age 14. Anyone under 18 will need consent from a parent or guardian. Additional support is available for participants under 18.
What’s the difference between face-to-face ($100) and blended ($80) White Card?
The face-to-face course is a full 4-hour classroom session. The blended option lets you complete the theory online at your own pace (2–5.5 hours), then attend a short 30-minute in-person assessment. Both result in the same nationally recognised White Card.
Traffic Management Questions
Do I need PPE for traffic management training?
Steel toe cap boots are required for the practical days (Days 3–4). A high-visibility vest can be provided if needed. Weather-appropriate clothing is recommended. Sunscreen and ponchos are provided on practical days.
Where does the practical training take place?
Theory is delivered at either our Northbridge or Malaga training centre. The practical assessment takes place at an approved off-site worksite, generally in Malaga.
What accreditation do I receive after completing traffic management training?
You receive a Statement of Attainment for the units completed and a Main Roads WA Certificate of Accreditation, valid for 3 years. This confirms you are eligible to work on traffic management worksites in Western Australia.
I have traffic qualifications from another state – can I enrol?
Yes. We offer an Interstate Bridging Course for students with existing traffic qualifications from another Australian state. Contact us before enrolling to confirm your eligibility and course duration.
Certifications and Records
What is a USI and why do I need one?
A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a government-issued reference number required for all nationally recognised training in Australia. It stores your training records securely online. Create yours free at usi.gov.au.
When will I receive my certificate?
White Card is issued the same day. Statements of Attainment for other accredited courses are issued within 3 business days of completion – and no later than 30 calendar days, in accordance with the Standards for RTOs 2025.
What if I lose my certificate?
Contact us at info@workforcetraining.com.au. A digital replacement (PDF) is free. A printed and posted replacement is $15. Allow up to 5 business days for processing.
Will completing a course guarantee me a job?
Our courses provide the nationally recognised qualifications and practical skills needed to enter your chosen industry. Employment outcomes depend on individual circumstances — Workforce Training Group does not guarantee job placement.

How do I pay for a course?
We accept credit and debit card payments online at the time of booking. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
