The White Card is a mandatory requirement for anyone seeking to work on a construction site in Australia. This blended delivery option offers flexible learning-allowing participants to complete the theory component online at their own pace, followed by a short in-person assessment.
The course equips learners with the knowledge and practical understanding to identify construction hazards, apply safe work practices, and understand their legal responsibilities under WHS legislation.

For the White Card – Blended course, a full refund is available if you have not yet started the online module and you provide at least 2 working days’ written notice prior to your scheduled face-to-face assessment.
No refunds will be issued once the online module has been accessed, or if you cancel with less than 2 working days’ notice, or fail to attend your booked assessment.
Please note: Refunds processed via Stripe will be minus a small non-refundable processing fee charged by the payment provider.

You’ll begin by completing an online learning module and knowledge questions at your own pace. Once that’s finished, you’ll attend a short face-to-face assessment at our Northbridge training centre.
Yes. The unit of competency is CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry, and the White Card issued by WorkSafe WA is valid across all Australian states and territories.
A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a government-issued reference number required for anyone undertaking nationally recognised training in Australia. It allows you to access your training records and transcripts online and ensures your accredited training is recorded in the national system.
If you’re completing any accredited course (such as RSA, White Card, or Traffic Management), you must provide a valid USI before your certificate can be issued.
You can create one for free at www.usi.gov.au. If you’re not sure how, we’re happy to help during the enrolment process.
Please bring valid photo ID (e.g. passport, driver’s licence, or proof of age card). All PPE and materials will be supplied on the day.
Your White Card will be printed and issued on the day of your face-to-face assessment, provided you are deemed competent and all enrolment and ID verification steps have been completed.
Yes. You can enrol from age 14. If you are under 18, we offer additional trainer support to help make the content accessible. Please contact us before the course if you’d like extra guidance or preparation.
You’ll need to speak and understand English to complete both the online module and the in-person assessment. If you’re unsure, we offer a quick verbal check by phone.

What if I don’t finish the online module in time?
You must complete the online module before attending your assessment. If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 2 working days in advance.
