Enquire NowThis qualification may lead to the following career opportunities. Please note: completion of training does not guarantee employment.
Already have skills and experience? You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer to reduce your study time.
Learn about RPLIt's a short online recognition process that most people complete in around an hour. Because it's an RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) pathway rather than a full course, you're confirming skills you already have rather than learning everything from scratch.
It's designed for people who already hold a valid Blue Card and are currently, or were recently, working in construction. It lets you upgrade to a nationally recognised White Card (CPCWHS1001) without repeating the full induction course. Contact us first and we'll confirm you're eligible before you enrol.
You'll need to hold a valid Blue Card and be able to provide evidence that you're currently or were recently working in construction. You'll also need a valid photo ID and a device with internet access to complete the online pre-reading module. If you're not sure whether you qualify, contact us and we'll check with you before you enrol.
CTF (Construction Training Fund) subsidies may apply for eligible WA construction workers and can reduce your course fee. Contact us before enrolling and we'll help you check your eligibility, or you can read more at ctf.wa.gov.au/funding. We also offer payment plans if you'd like to spread the cost.
Yes — if you're on a student visa (subclass 500), you can enrol in our White Card (CPCWHS1001), First Aid (HLTAID011 / HLTAID009), and Responsible Service of Alcohol (SITHFAB021) courses. These are approved short courses that overseas students can complete alongside their main studies, without the training provider needing CRICOS registration. Before enrolling, please check that your visa conditions allow you to undertake an additional short course. You can confirm this with the Department of Home Affairs.
A valid photo ID, your current Blue Card, and evidence of your recent construction work. Everything is completed online, so there's nothing to bring to a classroom — you just need a device with internet access.
Because this pathway is for people already working in construction and holding a Blue Card, it naturally suits those already in the workforce. If you're under 18, contact us and we'll talk through your situation.
Our courses do need a working level of English, since you'll need to read the online material and understand safety information and complete the assessment. To make sure the course is the right fit and that you'll be well supported, we offer a quick language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) check over the phone before you start. If the check shows you'd benefit from extra support, we'll go through the options with you so you can complete the course with confidence.
Yes. A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a free reference number that every student undertaking nationally recognised training in Australia must have. It's a lifetime record of your training, so all your qualifications and Statements of Attainment are stored in one place. You'll need one before we can issue your certificate — you can create your own for free at usi.gov.au.
Yes. On successful completion you'll receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for CPCWHS1001 and a WorkSafe WA White Card, recognised by employers and regulators right across Australia.
Once your evidence and assessment are complete and we've verified your USI, we'll issue your Statement of Attainment and arrange your WorkSafe WA White Card. Your Statement of Attainment is sent by email, so keep an eye on your inbox (including your junk folder).
No — your WorkSafe WA White Card doesn't expire. But if you leave the construction industry for two or more years in a row, it's no longer valid and you'll need to complete the training again before returning to site.
We collect and store your personal information only for the purposes of delivering your training, issuing your certificate, and meeting our legal obligations as a Registered Training Organisation. We're required to report certain information to government bodies — including your USI and training results — and we handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy. You can read the full policy on our website, and you're welcome to contact us with any questions about your information.
We take all concerns seriously and aim to resolve them fairly. If you're unhappy with any part of your experience, or you'd like to appeal an assessment decision, you can let us know and we'll follow our Complaints and Appeals process. The full process — including how to submit and what to expect — is set out in our Complaints and Appeals Policy on our website. You won't be disadvantaged for raising a concern.
Your course fee covers up to 3 assessment attempts at no extra charge. If you haven't achieved a satisfactory result after 3 attempts, you're welcome to re-enrol in the course to try again — the standard course fee applies to the new enrolment.
