Nationally Recognised Short Courses in Perth

Workforce Training Group delivers White Card courses (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry) at our Northbridge training centre, Unit 15, 139 Newcastle Street, Perth. We run face-to-face sessions daily Monday to Saturday, with multiple session times each day. The training centre is a 10-minute walk from Perth Train Station and easily accessible by bus.

Yes. If you complete your course before 3pm, your White Card is printed and issued on the same day – you walk in, complete your training, and leave with your card. You only need to bring valid photo ID (passport, driver’s licence, or proof of age card). All PPE and training materials are provided.

Our face-to-face White Card course is $100, with no additional fees. We also offer a blended option at $80 – complete the theory online at your own pace, then attend a 30-minute in-person assessment at our Northbridge centre. Both options issue the same nationally recognised qualification.

Workforce Training Group (RTO 46093) delivers nationally recognised training across four areas: construction (White Card), traffic management (Main Roads WA accredited), hospitality (RSA, Barista Essentials, Hospitality Starter Pack), and first aid (HLTAID011 First Aid and HLTAID009 CPR). We also offer course bundles – book your White Card first, then use code WTG40 to save $40 on your RSA.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of booking. For accredited courses, you’ll also need a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) – free to create at usi.gov.au.

Yes. We deliver Main Roads WA accredited traffic management training, covering Basic Worksite Traffic Management (RIISS00054) and Traffic Control (RIISS00055). Classroom theory takes place in Northbridge and practical assessment runs at an approved worksite in Malaga. Free transport is provided between Northbridge and the worksite. On successful completion, you receive a Statement of Attainment and a Main Roads WA Certificate of Accreditation valid for 3 years.

We support a lot of students who are new to Perth – particularly people arriving from Ireland, the UK, and other countries on working holiday visas. Alongside training, we offer free practical guidance on getting a Tax File Number (TFN), local job search tips, and accommodation advice. Our trainers also deliver content in clear, plain English, with extra support available for students with lower English levels.

Yes. Our trainers are experienced in supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds and deliver training in clear, plain English. If you’re unsure about your English level, contact us for a free short verbal assessment – it helps us understand the best way to support you through your course. Reasonable adjustments are available where needed.

For half or full day courses, you’ll receive a full refund with at least 2 working days’ written notice. For longer courses (2+ days), full refund with 5 working days’ notice, or 50% refund with 3–4 days’ notice. No refund applies for non-attendance. Refunds are processed through Stripe, minus the non-refundable processing fee. Transfers to a different date are also available with the same notice periods.

Workforce Training Group is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 46093) regulated by ASQA. Please note: Barista Essentials is a non-accredited course and issues a Certificate of Completion.
