  • Our Training Facility is conveniently located on Newcastle Street near Slyth Way, with easy access by bus, train and car.
  • By Bus: The 980 bus stops right at Newcastle St Before William St (Stop ID: 28178).
  • By Train: We’re just a 10-minute walk from Perth Train Station (situated behind the TAFE building on Aberdeen Street).
  • Parking Reimbursement: We offer parking cost reimbursement for course participants. Park in one of the nearby car parks and bring your receipt to our reception for reimbursement.

  • Our course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to manage traffic effectively, ensuring safety and compliance on worksites.
    • Implement traffic management plans following state regulations.
    • Use safe work practices to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
    • Operate traffic control devices, such as Stop-Slow Bats, to manage and control traffic.

Course Content and Learning Outcomes

  • Throughout the three-day course, participants will cover essential topics including:
  • Traffic Management Plans: Learn to read, interpret, and implement plans to ensure safe traffic flow.
  • Workplace Safety: Understand site safety requirements, equipment use, and safety protocols.
  • Traffic Control Techniques: Practice essential techniques such as signaling, radio operations, and traffic directing.
  • Hazard and Risk Assessment: Develop skills to identify hazards, conduct job safety analyses, and complete safe work method statements.
  • Assessment
    You will be evaluated through written exams, practical demonstrations, and real-world assessments. Competency in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills is required for successful completion.

What to wear and bring

  • Appropriate Attire: Enclosed shoes are required, and steel-capped safety boots are necessary for practical exercises on Days 2 and 3.
